I’m a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico and have spent nearly my whole life here. Being a late bloomer in almost everything. I finally left this, my ancestral home. After a 4-year stint teaching Geology in Indiana, and 8 years on the “Western Slope” of Colorado, I came home. To Albuquerque.
This is my hometown. These are my people.
Within this landscape I write my stories….told to me by the voices inside my head, in their own sweet time.
Corvus Rising is my first fictional work. I will be publishing Book 2 very soon…really.
My love of rocks and mountains led me to obtain a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of New Mexico.
I also make art. Jewelry, Pottery, Graphic Art…it’s all here. My whole life.
Thanks to my mother, Rita M. Simmons, who opened my childhood to the World of Art.
Read, write, make art, love, forgive…
